The latest ABC figures see H Bauer's market-leading title Take a Break remaining head and shoulders above its nearest competitor, with sales of 981,504. Sales of Take a Break outstrip its nearest rival at the newsstands by almost double the amount of copies sold each week. See full release.

This morning, H Bauer Publishing (HBP) announces that it has ended its long running relationship with The Publishing Consultancy (TPC) in the UK. HBP Media Sales which will be run as an internal division within the business will take charge of all of HBP's advertising sales.

H Bauer's TV Choice is the clear winner in the TV listings sector, posting an ABC figure of 1,404,950 weekly copy sales. This 14th consecutive ABC increase marks a 3.8% year-on-year and 0.9% period on period growth. TV Choice is now the number one listings magazine and also the number one newsstand magazine in the UK.

Bauer today announces the successful completion of its acquisition of Emap's Consumer Media business (and Emap PLC's shares in Frontline Ltd). This follows the successful acquisition of Bauer Radio which completed on Tuesday 29th January.

Heinrich Bauer Verlag KG today announces the completion of the purchase of Emap plc's Radio business for £422 million. Following the receipt of German and Austrian competition clearance, the sale of Emap Consumer Media to Bauer is now unconditional and is expected to complete shortly.

Bauer publishing group’s acquisition of Emap receives approval from shareholders

With a large majority of 97.9 percent, shareholders of Emap have approved the sale of Emap's consumer magazines and radio divisions to Bauer publishing group.
