H Bauer’s John Dale named woman’s weekly Editor of the year by the BSME

H Bauer publishing's John Dale, editor of Take a Break, was named editor of the year in the women's weekly magazine sector at the prestigious British Society of Magazine Editor's awards 2007. He has now won this award on an unprecedented eight occasions. Take a Break was also short listed in the innovation category, an award the magazine has won on two previous occasions. The judges cited constant innovation and the ability to motivate readers and maintain circulation success as the notable editorial achievements which led to the award. Despite fierce competition from a number of new launches into the sector, Take a Break consistently sells over one million copies per week.
