H Bauer’s John Dale named women’s weekly Editor of the year by the BSME

H Bauer Publishing’s John Dale, editor of Take a Break, was named editor of the year in the women’s weekly magazine sector at the prestigious British Society of Magazine Editor’s awards 2009. He has now won this award on an unprecedented nine occasions.

Take a Break was also short listed in the innovation category for Chums4mums on the NHS, an award he has won on two previous occasions.

The judges cited constant innovation and tireless campaigning on serious issues that have helped inform and motivate readers as the notable editorial achievements which led to the award.
