Downing Street welcomes Fiction Feast competition winners

Take a Break's Fiction Feast was in the news today as Gordon Brown welcomed the Young Fiction Writer of the Year competition winners to Number 10 Downing Street.  Play the video here.

Over 2,000 young writers aged eight to 18 entered Take a Break’s Young Fiction Writer of the Year competition. The winners and runners-up visited Number 10 and met Gordon and Sarah Brown as well as children’s author and competition judge Anthony Horowitz.  Mr Brown praised reading initiatives such as ‘Boys into Books’ and congratulated the winners on their achievements and imagination.
