H Bauer’s TVChoice, the nation’s favourite paid for magazine, has stormed ahead in the tv listings sector to post an ABC of 1,362,384, up 4.6% pop and 4.0% yoy. This performance increases TVChoice’s share of sector, the title now outsells its nearest rival by an average of over 100,000 copies a week. Liz Watkinson, publishing director, predicts that this pattern of growth will continue, “as families look for excellent value in these recessionary times TVChoice is best placed as the number one source to help readers make the most of their cosy nights in front of the telly” says Watkinson.
Total TVGuide, H Bauer’s comprehensive multichannel listings title, has put in yet another excellent performance and with an ABC of 121,379, up 11.3% pop and 9.6% yoy, is the only title in the sector to show double digit growth. Publisher Liz Watkinson says “As the pace of digital switchover continues throughout Britain, with many regions having completed the process and Anglia all set for a March start, more and more readers are discovering the benefit of Total TVGuide which gives the clearest information on digital listings.”
